What this family is
Fine-gauge hook has a soft hand and a low profile, so it can sit against skin, hair or a delicate face fabric without the stiffness of standard hook tape. It is the material behind hair rollers and curlers, personal-care wraps and baby products.
Peel strength is deliberately lower than standard hook. That is the trade-off for comfort, and it is the right one when the closure is opened by hand many times a day.
